This article provides information on how you can share the menu file for a particular event with your team members in SOUS.
- Please follow the below steps to share the menu with your team members.
- Create a folder in your Business Google Drive as "Menu Cards"
- Create a folder for the event.
For example "Joe 25th Anniversary" - Open the newly created event folder and upload the menu card.
- Once the menu is uploaded, click the 3 vertical dots next to the file name and click Share and select Copy Link.
- Click Manage access from the pop up that shows on the left side of screen and under General Access, click the drop down and change from Restricted to Anyone with the Link.
- Click "Copy Link"
- Click Done.
- Open the event SOUS.
- Click on the Team tab, select your team members and click "Send Invite".
- Update the event time and click "Send Invite".
- Once the email preview window is opened, type "Click here to view the Menu Card" anywhere in the email template.
- Highlight the newly added text.
- At the top, next to email formatting options, click "Insert/Edit Link".
- Paste the URL you copied earlier in Step 6.
- Add a title
For example "Menu Card for Joe 25th Anniversary" - Click the drop down under "Open Link in" and choose "New Window"
- Click Save.
- Click Send.
