Modified on Tue, Oct 14 at 6:45 AM

This article explains how to add, update, disable, or delete products or services in Sous.

Sous supports multiple types of products and services, including:

  • Private Events

  • Meal Prep

  • Cooking Classes

  • Products

  • Custom (any custom category service, like drop-off)

Accessing Products & Services

  1. From the left-hand menu, navigate to Business Center > Products & Services.

  2. The page will display all your existing products and services, organized by type.

Adding a Product or Service

Steps:

  1. Click the ➕ button for the type of product or service you want to add.

  2. In the slide-out drawer, fill in the required fields:

    • Name

    • Price

    • Description

  3. Click Save.

Your new product or service will now appear in the list.

Editing a Product or Service

Steps:

  1. Locate the product or service you want to update and click Edit.

  2. Update the fields: Name, Price, or Description.

  3. Click Save.

Editing a product or service does not change its type. To change the type, you must delete or mark the existing product as inactive and create a new one for the desired type.

Disabling a Product or Service

Instead of deleting a product, you can Deactivate. Inactive products will not appear as a selection when generating invoices.

How: Locate the product or service you want to disable and click Deactivate.

To re-enable a product, update its state back to Active.

Removing or Deleting a Product or Service

Steps:

  1. Locate the product or service you want to delete and click Delete.

  2. Confirm by clicking Delete in the popup.

Note: Deleted products or services cannot be recovered.
