Keeping your contacts organized in Sous makes it easy to manage events, invoices, and communication. You can add new contacts and later edit their details anytime.
Add a New Contact
In the left-side menu, click Contacts.
On the Contacts page, click the Add Contact button (top right).
A drawer will slide out from the right side. Enter your client’s information (name, email, phone, etc.).
When you’re done, click Save.
✅ That’s it! You’ve successfully added a contact to Sous. You will be directed to the Contacts details page and the new contact will now appear in your contact list.
Edit Contact Details
Once a contact is created, you can view and update their full profile:
Open Contacts from the left-side menu.
Click on the contact you’d like to update.
You’ll see the Contact Details screen, which includes an Overview tab with fields for:
Name, Email, Phone Number
Alternate Contacts
Birthday & Anniversary
Street Address, City, State, Country, Zip Code
Allergies, Dislikes, Preferences
Notes (great for storing additional details or client requests)
After making updates, click Save at the bottom.
Events Tab
This tab shows all past and upcoming events connected to this contact. It’s a quick way to see what you’ve done (or are scheduled to do) for a contact.
Transactions Tab
Here you’ll find a record of all invoices and payments linked to the contact. This makes it easy to track their financial history with you.
Delete a Contact
You can delete a contact in two ways:
Option 1: From the Contact List
Go to Contacts in the left-side menu.
Find the contact you want to remove.
Click the ellipsis (⋮) on the far right side of the contact’s row.
Select Delete.
Option 2: From the Contact Details Page
Open the contact you want to remove.
On the right side of the details screen, click the red Delete Contact button.
⚠️ Note: Deleting a contact is permanent and cannot be undone.
