How to Cancel or Delete an Event

In Sous, you can cancel or permanently delete an Event. This can be done from the Events list or directly inside the Event itself.




Important Information When Deleting Events


  • Cancelling keeps the Event record but marks it as cancelled.

  • Deleting is permanent — all menus, invoices, and files tied to the Event will be lost and cannot be recovered. 




Step 1: Open the Events Page


Go to the left-hand menu and select Events.


Step 2: Select the Event


Find the Event you want to cancel or delete.




Cancelling an Event


Option 1: Click the 3-dot menu on the very right side of the event on the Events List.

  • Select Event Cancelled.

  • Confirm by clicking Yes in the popup.


Option 2: Click Event Cancelled inside the event.

  • Open the chosen event.

  • Click Event Cancelled.

  • Confirm by clicking Yes in the popup.





Deleting an Event


Option 1: Click the 3-dot menu on the very right side of the event on the Events List.

  • Select Delete.

  • Confirm by clicking Delete in the popup.


Option 2: Click Delete Event inside the event.

  • Open the Event.

  • Click the Edit icon in the top right.

  • Click Delete Event.

  • Confirm by clicking Delete in the popup.
