Getting Started - Create Appointments and Tasks

The Calendar in Sous helps you manage your schedule by creating appointments with clients or internal tasks for your business. Both can be added quickly from the calendar view.

Create Appointments


Appointments are linked to a specific contact.


Steps:

  1. Open Calendar from the left-side menu.

  2. Choose Appointment from the Add Event dropdown.

  3. Fill in the fields:

    • Title

    • Contact (select an existing contact)

    • Start Date & Time

    • End Date & Time

    • Additional Notes (optional)

  4. Click Save.

The appointment will appear on your calendar and also in the contact’s details page under appointments.



Create Tasks


Tasks are internal reminders that are not linked to a contact.


Steps:

  1. Open Calendar from the left-side menu.

  2. Choose Task from the Add Event dropdown.

  3. Fill in the fields:

    • Title

    • Start Date & Time

    • End Date & Time

    • Additional Notes (optional)

  4. Click Save.


The task will appear on your calendar as a standalone reminder.



Editing or Deleting

  • Click on an appointment or task in the calendar.

  • The slide-out details drawer will open.

  • Edit the information and click Save.

  • To Delete an appointment or task, click the 3-dot ellipsis (⋮) in the top-right corner of the drawer and click Delete.
